Fine castle with rich historical charm.
Our experience was disappointing to say the least. The castle felt more like a venue for events than a relaxing getaway, and we were restricted from exploring after 10 PM due to night alarms. The cleanliness left much to be desired. Despite adequately cleaned surfaces, many corners were dusty, triggering my boyfriend's allergies was good.

A beautiful old castle with beautiful furnishings. The staff were excellent and looked after us beautifully. Delicious breakfasts and great dining.
Sadly the hotel makes weddings a priority and books out all the space to them so we were not able to use the roof gardens or any of the dining spaces outside. they had parties going on in every reception room until late and a party took place just outside our bedroom so it was very noisy. We loved the hotel but probably wouldn't stay there again because of this.

The surrounding area
The hotel is geared for weddings and not for over night guest. It is like a stage set, it is all for show. Thie hotel guest are not important and that is how they make you feel. Would not go back

The room was incredible - like something out of a romantic fairytale. I felt like I had gone back in time and was a a member of Italian royalty. I would recommend this for any couple looking for a romantic escape whether for a honeymoon or to rekindle a romance. We were there the same weekend as many weddings and I can't image a more beautiful plae to celebrate it!
Only that we couldn't live there forever!

The castle's amazing ambiance and rich history. The dining was an absolute highlight, with homemade bread and really good wine with an exquisite four-course menu. While the staff was generally attentive, some noise disturbances from events affected the tranquil atmosphere. The vintage decor and historic setting were perfect for our family occasion, with a unique backdrop for photos.

I had a lovely stay even with the rainy weather. The hotel/castle is truly a beautiful facility and I plan to visit again with my familly. If you like staying in a historical setting, this is the perfect spot. The staff was very accommodating and even brought my breakfast to my room as a courtesy.
I do wish the hotel restaurant had been open on Monday night. It would help to make that very clear when making any kind of reservation for a hotel stay as it is a bit difficult to get to other restaurants in the surrounding area. There is a gate that is closed at night and you have to call someone to let you in. As a single traveler that was not a very good option.

beautiful venue but noisy events
The vintage decor of the hotel is fine. The breakfast featured a nice variety of fresh options that fueled our day well. The garden view from our room was good.
We experienced some disturbances due to events being held on-site, which interrupted our relaxation.

The hotel has a unique scenery and the rooms have very nice antique furniture. We were travelling with two little kids (4 + 1) and the stay was very convenient. The atmosphere was very quiet (we were staying there on Wed/Thu). The hotel and restarant staff was very friendly. The room was very clean and the buffet breakfast was fine.

The elegant décor of Relais Castello Bevilacqua is enchanting, with antique furniture and beautiful wall frescoes throughout. The inviting atmosphere, combined with accessible areas, made it comfortable for me as a senior traveler to explore and enjoy.
Some areas could use more seating for comfort.

Romantic castle. Spacious. Interesting decor and interesting history. Some staff very helpful (waitress).
As a "Relais" I would expect greater attention be given to the individual e.g. No help was offered or given with our suitcases. Furthermore, the was a noisy wedding outside our window until midnight, and for such an isolated place where one wishes to eat at the hotel it would be nice to see more options or further variety in the menu.
